This is my mom.

Her name is Stefanie with an "f".

I just couldn't help but put this picture up... its priceless... sorry madre.

She's a great mom.

She makes me get shots. She lets me put my head on her shoulder during church just as long as i keep my eyes open. She puts eye drops in my eyes every morning because I can't do it myself. She makes me feel like a little kid again when the whole world is telling me to grow up.

She's MY mom, and I love her... even when she has tinfoil in her hair.

Yole

(Yo-Lee)

for some reason, this is my new greeting towards people..
its equivalent to hello.

it first came from hola.
then changed to yola.
then yole.

i really like though.

Alexis Rae Johnson

Best Friends since the day she walked into my first grade classroom with Ms. Horning. I remember she blinked a lot. And that she didn't look scared at all. I was so jealous because I knew that if i were to move during the middle of the school year, i wouldn't have been that brave. I remember going to TLC class and talking about our friend Wilahmenia, and how long her name was.

Mr. Hall asked us on the last day of school if our hands were glued together.
By 2nd grade we were inseparable, but forced to be separated.

Elementary School was never the same. we thought we'd be together in Jr. High, but Timberline was built so we were split up still. I don't know how, but we stayed best friends. going to movies almost every Saturday so we could play with each other.

finally 9th grade. that meant only 1 more year until we could go to the same school again.

I remember my first day of High School. I walked into Health A1 with Mr. Jorgensen and Alexis was sitting in the classroom already. It had been 7 years since i had seen her in my classroom.
We had an obsession with this boy in our class and we called him Edward. Now everytime i see him i laugh. Jorgensen would get mad at us because we would make faces at each other when he taught.

2nd day of High School, B1 we had Biology with Nordick.
Her and Christian Childs did not get along. it was halarious and Nordick would always make them be Lab partners. again, we would make faces at each other across the classroom, but Nordick didn't care. If it wasn't for Alexis, i probably woudn't have passed Biology.
I remember when she made me pull the pins out of the worm we had to disect. it was disgusting, but she reassured me that the worm was 100% dead and it wouldn't hurt me.

That was a great year, eating lunch everyday at "our wall". I'm so glad she ate with me, Alyssa and Janelle.

I was nervous that Alyssa and Janelle woudn't click with alexis the same way i did, but honestly, why did i worry? almost anybody could click with alexis... except maybe christian. :)

We both took digital photography sophmore year with Mr. Harris, but didn't have the same period. we would still do our homework together and talk about how old Harris was.

Then it came time to choose classes for 11th grade.

We pretty much shoved our TA slips in Nordicks face and made him sign it. And i'm so glad we did.
TAing with alexis was possibly the best thing i could have done.
it was OUR time to talk (even if we had to go to the back room because we were being too loud).
Golf stats, cleaning, turning up the volume on the computer so the kids in the class could hear the little sound spider solitare makes, listening to Nordick talk about his wife, finally meeting his wife, going to Roxberry, going to her house, almost getting eaten by a badger, lighting things on fire, throwing away smelly fermaldeheid and freaking out about the trianchula above the desk.

Anything can be fun when you're with your best friend.

I'm so lucky to have known her and to have been a part of her short life, I love her so much and will always miss her.

She was always so nice to everybody. Saying "yes" to dances she dreaded.

She understood me. and my sense of humor.

Her whitty comments were so funny and out of the blue. they always made me smile.

And even though i made fun of her small hands and short body, she knew i loved her.

Wow she's a special girl.

All in 3 days.

Mr. Smith

Mr. Smith is not an ordinary math teacher.

He's my favorite teacher.

He stays hours after school to help his students, he hands out pebbles of luck for upcoming ap tests. he laughs at the goofy things we do in class. He's sensitive to your feelings, and was just as sad when Alexis passed away that I was. He connects with his students in no other way I've experienced with any other teacher. His nerdyness makes him funny. His music quizzes helped my grade. His friendship made me feel special.

I love Mr. Smith and I'm going to miss him this summer.

But I'm so excited to have him next year for my hardest class ever.

Blogs are for old people.
... i guess that just shows how mature I must be.

so here i go, on my blogging journey.
